Responsibilities

Acts as a liaison between the Graf program and other Tanana Chiefs Conference divisions, programs, and staff, as well as other community stakeholders. Attends mandatory meetings
Monitors and maintains program conditions and fiscal accountability
Maintains program dashboards, ensuring project progress with established program goals and objectives
Provides administrative supervision to program staff including hiring, daily administrative supervision, and annual evaluation of program staff. Meets regularly with staff to monitor quality of work in adherence to TCC Supervision policy
Plans, directs, monitors and coordinates the daily operations and services completed at Graf, ensuring 24/7 staff coverage
Maintains compliance with CARF accreditation standards and the State of Alaska Residential Child Care Licensing regulations
Assists clients in keeping appointments with mental health and health providers including transportation and medication monitoring
Maintains clinical and administrative records as needed according to policy
Coordinates with other mental health, health, and social service providers (e.g. FCMHC, APH, FMH, FCC) who may provide services to clients, including discharge planning and continued care
Arranges in-service training for staff as needed. Assists in developing training plans for further needed skills in relevant areas
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in a human services field
Five (5) years of working experience in a social services environment serving children and/or adolescents, with a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience
A combination of experience, education, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, may be substituted for degree requirements, in accordance with State of Alaska Residential Child Care Facility licensing regulations, 7 AAC 50.200
Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must pass background check pursuant to the State of Alaska background check and federal Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act requirements
Experience with adult, child, and adolescent service provision; specialized testing/evaluation; DSM 5 diagnosis; severely emotionally disturbed children; chronic mental illness; dual diagnosis and integrated treatment coordination; crisis intervention; consultation; routine charting
Strong verbal communication, analytical and interpersonal skills required
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Familiarity with Alaska Native cultures and rural lifestyles
Knowledge and ability to adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality regulations
Job incumbent must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Some village travel may be required
Must be able work effectively in a busy and often stressful environment
