The Strategist, Growth role supports the new business project manager in managing pitch activities, ensuring deliverables are met, and preparing research and insights for new business initiatives.

Responsibilities

Play key role in RFI development: provide initial input from database of best answers

Manage database of new business materials: RFP answers, corporate data, client lists, leadership bios, case studies

Leverage agency tools and internet to develop brand insights and competitive research

Assist with pitch content development: pulling in frequently used slides and case studies from new business drive

Prepare new business activity reports (status) for senior management

Work with design team to facilitate timely design of all pitch content

Help prepare updates for key trade publications on Horizon’s corporate data (new business wins, billings, etc.)

Support a senior lead in identifying and researching potential clients, creating custom outreach content

Required

Must have exceptional organizational skills and thrive on managing multiple projects

Ability to write business briefs, case studies and general business correspondence

Must be able to work well under pressure, ‘remain calm amidst chaos'

Strong people skills

Must be deadline-oriented

Preferred

1-2 years of experience in media

MS Office, spreadsheets, Internet software, E-mail/Teams

Bachelor's degree required

Interest in marketing, advertising and/or media

Flexibility with work hours – late nights and/or weekends may be necessary
