Responsibilities
Build a team which can live in both the software development and service reliability engineering worlds
Drive improvements to our architecture and operating practices with the goal of enabling the smooth operation of our services for our customers
Handle on-call support for these services in conjunction with our service and infrastructure teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
7+ years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
5+ years of experience in management roles
2+ years of experience managing other development managers
Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
Hands-on operational experience with large-scale distributed systems
Experience working in large, multi-team environments
