American Residential Services is one of the nation's leading providers of plumbing and heating/air conditioning, and they are looking for a part-time Dispatcher to join their team. The role involves answering customer calls, scheduling technician appointments, and entering customer data while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Answer customer calls within a busy office

Set and schedule technician appointments for jobs

Enter customer data into the computer

Respond in a timely fashion to customer queries

Resolve and assist customers by taking incoming calls and making outbound calls regarding appointment scheduling for maintenance agreements

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent, or a combination of related experience and/or advanced training/education

One or more years of experience as a dispatcher

Availability to work in office Sunday through Wednesday from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple appointments

Demonstrated listening, written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to meet and exceed set goals

Excellent customer service skills and experience gathering customer information and keying it into a computer

Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word

Knowledge of the local geographic territory

Ability to pass background check and drug screening
