Focus Cloud is partnering with a leading healthcare organization seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to support Payroll operations during a critical stabilization period. The role is hands-on and focuses on ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery while leading and supporting an established Payroll team.

Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end Payroll operations following a recent Workday go-live

Lead, support, and develop Payroll team members, ensuring clear ownership and accountability

Ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all pay cycles

Act as the primary escalation point for Payroll issues and stakeholder queries

Partner with HR, Finance, and Workday support teams to stabilise Payroll processes

Identify process gaps and drive operational improvements (not system configuration)

Required

Strong experience running Payroll operations within Workday Payroll

Proven background leading Payroll teams in complex, high-volume environments

Experience supporting Payroll during or after a Workday go-live

Confident stakeholder management and clear communication skills

Healthcare experience is highly desirable but not essential
