The role involves managing classified networks, ensuring security and availability, and requires a broad understanding of networking technologies and user support responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Administration of Cisco switches, routers, Cisco CUCM, VTC, ISE and Palo Alto firewalls

Administration with Cisco Call Manager, VTC, ISE NAC and implementation

Knowledge of VMware

Providing user support

Project Management

Interpreting, implementing and testing security requirements

Must be able to support flexible work hours

Writing documentation on the systems

Working with Engineers on advanced principles and software integration

Required

Bachelor of science degree in networking or engineering

10 years+ experience administering, assembling, testing, troubleshooting and repairing network equipment (Switches, routers and/or firewalls)

Must have strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work individually, within a team, with other groups and with customers

Experience with at least one of the following: -Cisco routing and switching technologies -TACACS, 802.1x, SNMP, Syslog, DNS, DHCP -Network troubleshooting

Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance

Lifting up to 40lbs as required, ability to relocate and move servers and network equipment

Ability to bend, stretch, kneel to perform cable management. This requires tedious detail to properly install, label and appropriately route network cables

Moves / Adds / Changes - of computers when necessary

Individuals must be able to physically lift, bend and crawl under desks
