Quality Control Technician #1166027
The State of Missouri is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their Information Technology Services Division. This role involves analyzing and executing test plans, conducting application testing, and communicating results to team members, all while supporting the Department of Revenue.

Responsibilities
Software testing of integrations, functionality, business rules, data conversions, mobility, performance, security, and more
The position requires a great deal of interaction with Department of Revenue (DOR) customers and potentially other stakeholders, such as vendors
Maintain a positive working relationship with all ITSD functional areas
Be responsible for ensuring customer expectations are being met and proper procedures are being followed
Understand and further develop detailed business requirements based on system knowledge
Other duties as assigned
Strong willingness and curiosity to learn about DOR and its operations
Good verbal communication skills between peers, management, and stakeholders
An ability to produce written communication that is concise and accurate, also providing context and content tailored to the right audience
An ability to facilitate meetings and ask the right questions to elicit requirements
An ability to actively listen and demonstrate understanding of what is being said
A desire to build strong working relationships based on trust and a strong work ethic
An ability to follow up and follow through on commitments
Ability to come to a shared understanding of the problem and analyze possible solutions
Assist in building test scripts in order to test new or existing features
Apply testing techniques to ensure that solutions make it to production with zero or minimal defects
Familiarity with or ability to learn Azure DevOps (ADO), SQL, Visio, Word, and Excel
Familiar with Agile/Scrum development process
Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate’s name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position
