Responsibilities

Reads, interprets and follows blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions
Operates hand tools, air tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment
Maintains inventory of product in workstations
Performs quality work checks, identifies product defects and records identified defects
Reworks and/or repairs assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
Maintains a clean and safe work area

Required

Typically requires a HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position

Preferred

Basic knowledge of computer operations to access and navigate essential systems and software
Skilled in the use of both hand and power tools to perform assembly tasks with precision and efficiency
Assist in meeting customer demands by contributing to the timely completion of assembly projects
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, and memos related to assembly tasks
Capable of writing simple correspondence as needed for documentation and communication purposes
Work effectively as part of a team, contributing positively to team dynamics and productivity
