Responsibilities

Analyze manufacturer component grading (industrial vs. commercial) and its impact on product and system quality and reliability

Modernize reliability data collection, system-level reliability modeling and MTBF estimates using Power BI and AI/ML tools

Collaborate with vendors, internal commodity engineers and hardware design engineers to evaluate component reliability

Analyze and report reliability data using statistical methods and software tools

Document findings, methodologies, and results to support knowledge sharing and future development

Participate in the evaluation and qualification of new technologies for reliability

Required

Currently enrolled in or recently completed a master's or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or a closely related STEM field

Strong foundation in reliability engineering concepts, including Design for Reliability (DFR), and statistical analysis

Experience with reliability data collection, modeling, and analysis using statistical software and tools

Proficiency in programming languages (Python, MATLAB, or similar) for data analysis and automation

Proficiency in VBA scripting, Microsoft power BI, power automate, copilot studio and similar tools

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a global engineering team

Candidates must be local to the position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position
