2nd Shift Inventory Order Picker Lead

Responsibilities
Assisting in managing team members’ work in prioritizing and completion of tasks
Teaching new hires how to perform inventory functions properly using Voice Headset/Scanner
Verifying accuracy and quality
Inspecting for damages or defects, records issues, and notifies supervisor
Oversees and assists with picking orders in accordance with location and description
Maintaining department database, preparing routine reports, and filing records
Operating department material handling equipment and assisting in routine equipment maintenance
Following departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous improvement objectives, and safety rules
Perform other work as related to Inventory Department
Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures
Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience
Licensed forklift truck operator
Strong Leadership skills
Good computer skills
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to read and write English and use basic math
Strong organization skills
Good time management skills
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Team orientation
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist
Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine
Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
Standing: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time
Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another
Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward

Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to-position

Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines
The worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles
The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned
