Responsibilities

Oversee both the Municipal Water System (MWS) and South Bay Water Recycling (SBWR)
Ensure efficient operations, maintenance, regulatory compliance, engineering, and long-term planning for the city’s drinking and recycled water utilities
Manage capital improvement projects (CIP)
Manage an operating budget exceeding $70 million
Lead a senior leadership team that includes the Chief Water Operator, Principal Engineer, and Senior Environmental Program Manager
Develop rate models
Advance infrastructure projects
Collaborate with policymakers and external agencies
