Responsibilities
Follow all safety policies and procedures on the job site
Attend daily safety meetings and toolbox talks with the crew
Identify and address potential safety hazards immediately
Ensure use of required PPE
Ensure all work is performed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project specifications and industry best practices
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs and material usage
Coordinate with other trades on the job site
Work with Foremen to troubleshoot and resolve any on-site issues that may arise
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Ensure all welds meet required standards and specifications
Identify and correct any defects or deficiencies
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Iron Worker/Welder
Strong knowledge of ironworking and welding techniques, including layout and erection
Experience with a variety of welding processes (e.g., 3G, 4G, SMAW)
Excellent safety record and a strong commitment to safety
Strong communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to problem-solve and make quick decisions
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel outside of AZ
Preferred
OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
First Aid/CPR certification preferred
