Start in 2026 SpringTesla is seeking a Data Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 to join their analytics team. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining the Enterprise Data Warehouse and BI platform, focusing on data analysis and reporting to drive improvements in production quality and customer experience.

Responsibilities
Analyze data and extract useful statistics and insights to drive meaningful improvements to production quality and customer experience
Work effectively with engineers and conduct end-to-end analyses, from data requirement gathering, to data processing and modeling
Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques to provide ongoing reports
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and depict the story via dashboards and reports
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems to empower operational and exploratory analysis
Drive underlying data systems improvement by working with key cross-functional stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field of study and graduating between 2026-2027
Able to work on site in Fremont, CA
Proficiency in one or more of the following developer skills: Python, Java, Go, C/C++, Ruby, SQL or other common industry languages
Familiarity with database concepts such as MySQL, MS SQL
Excellent grasp of fundamental computer science concepts and ability to write well-organized code
Eagerness to collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering teams while able to work independently; detail-oriented and execution focused
