Media Production
Responsibilities
Building out new and enhancing existing internal tools, consumer facing websites & newsletter experiences
Collaborating with the engineering team, performing code review and helping to set best development practices and guidelines
Collaborating with Product Managers, Product Designers and other engineers to plan, design and implement business requirements
Working with stakeholders to solve their problems
Proposing and implementing new tools and technologies to accomplish product objectives
Qualification
Required
3+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on designing, building, and deploying production-ready code
Proficiency in a modern JavaScript framework like React or Next.js
Experience in a backend language such as Go or Python for building and maintaining APIs
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing RESTful or GraphQL APIs
Preferred
Experience with service based architecture
Experience taking ownership of technical initiatives from start to finish
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
