Responsibilities
Develop and execute automated, manual, regression, and software testing strategies
Design, develop, and implement cost-effective procedures for testing and troubleshooting components, sub-assemblies, and full systems
Create and maintain test plans, test procedures, test case design, test reports, and requirements traceability
Perform system configuration and documentation, including loading and verifying software on multiple devices
Conduct formal system acceptance testing and document test outcomes
Present test strategies, plans, and results to both internal and external stakeholders
Participate in failure investigation activities, perform analysis of test results, and document testing issues or anomalies
Collaborate across multi-disciplinary engineering teams within complex program environments
Support continuous process improvement by identifying and implementing productivity-enhancing solutions
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field and 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
Active DoD Secret clearance (must be obtained within a reasonable period of time)
Hands-on experience with automated, manual, regression, and software testing in engineering environments
Proficiency with DOORS, Jira, Matlab, and familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Strong background in object-oriented programming, scripting languages, and system processes
Proven ability to lead or support testing in multi-disciplinary engineering teams
Skilled in requirements-based testing, traceability, and failure analysis techniques
On-site work may be required; travel requirements minimal unless otherwise specified
