Responsibilities

Use the following software: PeopleSoft, Oracle, Word, Excel
Operate office equipment, such as computer, copier, fax, typewriter, and calculator
Respond to special requests and projects, frequently under deadline conditions
File correspondence, records, and other department documents
Prepare basic reports, such as budget, payroll and enrollment reports, as directed by supervisor
Send, receive, and distribute faxes
Answer and screen phone calls, handling multiple lines
Type correspondences, grant applications and other documents from notes, copies, or rough drafts
Answer routine correspondence not requiring supervisor’s attention
Communicate with other departments to solve problems

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Two (2) years secretarial experience required
Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications
