They are seeking a Financial Analyst to join their Consumer Tax Operations team in Phoenix, AZ, where the role focuses on ensuring compliance with IRS and bank guidelines while supporting tax documentation processes for consumer deposit accounts.

Responsibilities

Review and validate IRS Form W-8 (Certificate of Foreign Status), IRS Form W-9 (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number), and signature cards for interest-bearing consumer deposit accounts

Prepare and send mailings to customers regarding missing or expired W-8/W-9 forms

Support team processes and operational functions to ensure smooth workflow

Maintain strict adherence to IRS regulations and internal bank compliance standards

Required

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills

Experience navigating internal systems to research, review, update, and confirm customer tax status

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Flexibility to work an 8-hour schedule (between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday) and willingness to work overtime during peak tax season, including weekends if necessary
