Mercy Housing is the largest nonprofit affordable housing provider in the nation, dedicated to redefining affordable, low-income housing. They are seeking a Lead Desk Clerk and Shift Desk Clerks to provide customer service to residents, monitor visitors, and ensure security within the property.

Provide customer service to residents
Monitor the residents and visitors in and out of the building
Provide security to the property
Communicate appropriately and adequately with the proper authorities and Property team

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
General office experience
Work with diverse and vulnerable populations who have experienced homelessness
Answer telephone and greet residents and guests clearly
Treat a variety of people with respect and compassion
Maintain confidentiality
Decide when an incident is an emergency and take appropriate action
Write messages in a legible fashion

Preferred

Experience living or working in the Skid Row area of Los Angeles
