Customer Support Engineer
Akkodis is seeking a Customer Support Engineer for a Contract with a client in Seattle, WA. The role involves providing technical support and resolving issues related to GE e-terra DMS products, ensuring customer satisfaction and success.

Responsibilities
Provide technical support and resolve issues related to GE e-terra DMS products, including DMS, OMS, Storm Assist, and DER
Troubleshoot and isolate problems involving SCADA systems, networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory), and electrical grid modeling tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to strategize solutions, prevent recurrence of issues, and ensure compliance with change control protocols
Create and maintain technical documentation, case notes, and contribute to the Knowledge Base for customer-specific issues
Mentor team members in troubleshooting methods and act as a technical resource for complex problem resolution
Ensure customer success and satisfaction by fostering strong relationships and delivering high-quality support in stressful situations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science
Minimum 5+ years in customer support or technical support roles within the energy or utility domain
Direct experience installing, maintaining, or supporting GE e-terra DMS products (DMS, OMS, Storm Assist, DER)
Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory), and electrical grid operations (Transmission & Distribution)
