The Revenue Accountant will be responsible for month-end and year-end close tasks, project analysis and reporting, and assisting in financial audits while contributing to process improvements and internal controls compliance.

Responsibilities

Responsible for month-end WIP allowance posting and analysis

Responsible for WIP-related accounts' month-end reconciliations

Responsible for project-related revenue accruals

Assist in monthly unearned revenue analysis

Assist in monthly financial statement flux analysis and various reporting calculations

Participate in revenue recognition analysis to comply with applicable accounting standards

Participates in financial audit and Federal Acquisition Regulation Audit

Assist with developing, maintaining, and monitoring policies, processes, and procedures

Assist in the evaluation, development, and documentation of internal control processes

Liaison with other departments to provide financial support and collaborate on various projects

Transformative thinking to suggest process improvements and create efficiencies

All other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting

1 - 4 years of related accounting experience

CPA or CPA candidate encouraged

Proven experience in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle confidential matters related to daily business operations

Ability to interpret complex data and communicate analysis to members of management

Must be proactive and able to identify and act on company financial needs as they arise

Demonstrates excellent verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Demonstrates the ability to be organized, work on multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines by setting priorities

Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement

Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S
