Responsibilities
Perform failure analysis on explanted biomedical implant products to identify root cause failure mechanisms
Develop and implement investigative protocols, applying theoretical principles and analytical techniques for circuit and component-level analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Surveillance to resolve complex issues
Prepare detailed technical documentation, including test reports, analysis summaries, and quality compliance records
Support definition and maintenance of test equipment required for quality responsibilities and ensure compliance with FDA and regulatory standards
Mentor and assist less experienced lab staff in solving complex problems and improving failure analysis processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical or Biomedical preferred)
Entry-level or 1–2 years of engineering work experience (failure analysis experience preferred)
Strong ability to perform failure analysis and root cause investigations on biomedical implant products
Proficiency in circuit analysis and technical documentation, with excellent organizational and communication skills
