Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participate in emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the automotive facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues
Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the location
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to relay important information and maintain a visible presence
Complete required reports and logs in accordance with site-specific protocols and Allied Universal standards
Follow all site-specific instructions and guidelines to support a secure environment in the automotive industry setting
Qualification
Required
At least one year of security-related experience is required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Access control or badge experience is preferred
Loss prevention experience is preferred
CPR or first aid certification is preferred
