Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Plan, execute, and oversee ServiceNow development projects from initiation to deployment, ensuring alignment with ITSM processes
Agile Delivery: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) for ServiceNow development teams and ensure adherence to Agile principles
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, ServiceNow developers, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and manage expectations
Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to platform customization, integrations, and upgrades
Budget & Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation for ServiceNow initiatives
Compliance & Documentation: Maintain project documentation, ensure adherence to organizational policies, and align with ServiceNow governance standards
Continuous Improvement: Drive process optimization and implement best practices for ServiceNow development and delivery
Qualification
Required
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience: Minimum 7–10 years in IT project management, with at least 3–5 years managing ServiceNow development or ITSM projects
Certifications: PMP and Agile certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP, or SAFe). ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Implementation Specialist) highly preferred
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, workflows). Proficiency in project management tools like Jira, MS Project, Confluence. Familiarity with integration technologies and APIs
Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Preferred
Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, custom application development, and integrations
Knowledge of ITIL framework and ServiceNow governance
Ability to manage globally distributed development teams and multi-million-dollar budgets
