Responsibilities

Design nuclear and industrial fluid systems and components from requirements through final design

Provide oversight to vendors

Coordinate the review of analyses

Integrate as-designed hardware into the overall system

Identify and ensure effective application of design codes into the design of the plant systems (ASME, ANS, ASTM, IEEE, NFPA, etc)

Support planning efforts and maintain schedule adherence for design activities

Help create and manage drawing packages of system designs

Propose, initiate, and oversee testing programs

Generate design packages for systems, sub-systems, and equipment designs

Required

BS in Engineering and 10+ years of direct experience

Supplier/contractor coordinate and PM experience

Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated experience in fluid and structural analysis, tolerance analysis, and the ability to read engineering drawings

Experience working to quality standards on design activities, such as ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001

Preferred

Nuclear energy industry experience

Experience in high temperature and multi-discipline integration highly desired with nuclear handling process systems, fluid systems or fluid system component design
