Engage with customers to understand their use-cases and requirements
Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering solutions
Align with architecture guidelines for a unified development approach
Develop and maintain back-end applications like APIs and microservices
Manage application deployment to the cloud or on-prem, ensuring performance and security
Utilize PostgreSQL for data storage and retrievals in applications
Promote improvements in programming practices, such as test-driven development and continuous delivery
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
5+ years of experience in Java development for both front-end (web) and back-end applications
Experience in two coding languages or advanced proficiency in one language
10 years in IT; 8 years in development
Experience with Site Reliability Engineering and continuous integration/deployment pipelines
Proficiency in using GitHub for source code management
Ability to translate business design requirements into functional technical specifications
Preferred
Experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud Run and Google Memory Store
Experience with APIGEE for publishing applications
Experience with Spring Boot and Angular J for developing scalable web services
