Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test medical equipment, devices, and systems
Work closely with other engineers to create innovative solutions according to specifications
Participate in rigorous testing of products to ensure safety and efficacy before deployment
Monitor the entire manufacturing process, from concept design to product implementation. Activities include designing product improvements, developing evaluation methods, coordinating initial production, and creating manufacturing diagrams
Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
Must currently be enrolled in a degree program, Associates, Bachelor's or Master's working towards a degree in any of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechatronics/Robotics Engineering
Ability to work cross-functionally allowing for better collaboration and communication when working across teams to achieve shared objectives
Effective verbal communication skills
Build and maintain positive, productive interactions with colleagues
Reach mutually beneficial agreements through effective communication and compromise
Participate in a way that enhances team performance and cohesion
