Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems including HVAC units, chillers, fire pumps, and fire alarm systems
Escort and coordinate with third-party contractors, vendors, and service providers on-site to ensure safety and compliance
Monitor equipment performance and conduct initial assessments to identify potential issues
Adhere to all safety procedures and physical security policies during work activities
Follow operating procedures (SOPs) for critical environment activities and ensure compliance with safety standards
Qualification
Required
Able to work a flexible work schedule which could include 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, 3-, 4-, or 5-day work weeks
Previous experience working in data centers or high-availability critical environments
Experience with mechanical systems such as HVAC, industrial chillers, fire pumps, and fire alarm systems
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
At least 5 years of work or applied learning experience in technical fields like automotive, electrical, controls, or data center environments
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, or varied work weeks
