Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgment and training
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns
Monitor for suspicious activity and/or individuals, and report findings according to established protocols
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and the public as needed
Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company policies and training
Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents, patrols, and daily activities
Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed, providing support during incidents and emergencies
Qualification
Required
Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED
Be at least 21 years of age
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be able to ride a bike
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Participate in industry-specific security training programs
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
