Logistics Analyst

Responsibilities
Providing timely and correct acquisition logistics advice to the government’s Team Leader, Project Officer, and their Logistic Management Specialist
Conduct logistics assessments supporting new equipment, developing supportability strategies, preparing System Supportability Plans, and validating proposed Contract Logistics Support (CLS) strategies
Prepare high quality acquisition logistics documentation such as Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Technical Manuals, Fielding Plans, In-Service Management Plans, IUID Plans, Logistic Requirement Funding Summaries, Disposal Plans, ADMs for Material Fielding, the supportability sections of documents such as Acquisition Strategies/Acquisition Plans, etc
Conduct timely analysis of logistics design parameters (RCM, CBM, LORA); identifying opportunities for innovative, cost-effective life-cycle management solutions and validating/modifying maintenance plans over a system’s life-cycle
Prepare and brief the logistics aspects of programs during Independent Logistic Assessments, Program Reviews, and Milestone Decisions
Perform equipment trend analysis utilizing the Marine Corps Equipment Readiness Information Tool (MERIT) and Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs) to identify, monitor, and resolve equipment readiness issues

Candidates must have the ability to multi-task, be proficient with Microsoft Office software to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Project, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills, being able to effectively present briefings/presentations to government personnel in senior leadership positions
The candidate hired for this position MUST be eligible to receive an Interim Secret Clearance from the U.S. Government within 4 weeks from the date of hire
Possess previous experience supporting Marine Corps Systems Command and possess an in-depth understanding of USMC logistics concepts and policies, including organizational (Operator/Crew) & intermediate (Field) level maintenance, along with USMC supply & maintenance practices
Possess DAWIA qualification in the Life-Cycle Logistics Career Field
Possess demonstrated experience and proficiency with the following logistic management software systems/tools: TFSMS, MIMMS, WAWF, WOLPH, MERIT, SASSY, and Haystack Gold
Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, be familiar with MS Office tools/products, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills, being able to effectively present briefings/presentations to government personnel in senior leadership positions
Preferred
Possess an expert knowledge of the USMC Technical Publications Processes and experience utilizing the Total Life Cycle Management Operational Support Tool (TLCM-OST)
Possess DAWIA qualification in the Program Management Career Field
