HR Technology Analyst II - Compensation
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is the nation's first hospital devoted exclusively to the care of children. The HR Technology Analyst II will provide client support and administration of compensation technology applications, leading technical functionality related to job architecture and annual compensation planning.

Responsibilities
Understands and maintains a strong working knowledge of CHOP's HR Technology applications as it relates to compensation and integrated technologies and processes
Demonstrates the ability to diagnose, document and resolve complex compensation application issues from a functional, administrative and technical perspective
Solicits system requirements, performs compensation system configuration, comprehensive testing and production enablement as part of an agile development lifecycle for a variety of compensation technology applications
Exhibits a consistently high level of customer service, collaboration and consensus building skills while working with internal clients and/or stakeholders
Plans and administers end-user training with relevant internal and external CHOP stakeholders. In particular, trains and mentors Compensation team members in routine compensation administration activities related to compensation technologies (i.e., HRIS compensation transactions, data integrity audits, implementing mass pay changes, participating in annual and ad hoc salary surveys, and responding to pay-related inquiries)
Provides 'Tier 2' support of employee, management and HR users leveraging our standard service delivery model
Performs configuration, systems administration, data management, table maintenance, integration monitoring, and data uploads for HR Technology applications
High level of technical acumen as it relates to CHOP's cloud based HCM and ancillary system configurations
Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on CHOP HR and compensation applications including how to best leverage system capabilities to satisfy specific client needs
Works directly with DTS function on service requests and defect resolution from inception through to completion. In addition, serves as key point of contact for all application vendors and key supporting stakeholders for collaboration, enhancements, troubleshooting, and implementation
Supports downstream integration requirements including HR data model consultation, management of employee data requests and trouble shooting of data issues encountered by internal and external third-party applications
Leads all application configuration, reporting, updates, implementation, and improvements related to the annual compensation cycle, including year-over-year benchmark reporting, salary survey submissions, salary structure adjustments, merit and incentive planning
Accountable for the development of reporting and dashboards to provide meaningful data and analytics, which allows leaders to make informed decisions
Trains and mentors Compensation team members in ensuring all aspects of the compensation cycle are completed on time and according to established process
Recommends enhancements to the annual process and collaborates on their implementation
Leads technical SME for designated compensation technology projects throughout the project lifecycle including creation and delivery of project plans, estimates, management presentations, user communications, and DTS coordination
Performs Business Requirements Analysis and composes comprehensive Design Specifications
Plans and executes all aspects of Unit, End to End and User Acceptance Testing to ensure quality implementations
Develops clear documentation including Knowledge Articles, Job Aides, Operational Guides, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), etc
Assesses client information needs and develops relevant compensation-related reports using Report Writing Tools
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED
At least four (4) years of relevant experience working in a Human Resources or Information Technology environment
Cloud HCM Software experience (e.g. Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow HR Service Delivery, Hyland Document Management, Phenom People, etc.) including implementation, application configuration, user support, systems administration and security administration
Knowledge and experience with Agile Methodology

Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficiency using MS Office applications including MS Access and MS Excel

Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
At least two (2) years of relevant functional compensation experience or directly supporting compensation activities
