Senior Compensation Analyst

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a reputable organization based in the Kansas City area who has a need to directly hire a degreed Senior Compensation Analyst. This role involves administering global compensation programs and processes as part of a solid Human Resources team.

Responsibilities

Heading up compensation structure and analysis for a company workforce with divisions based in multiple locations throughout several countries
Studying the employment market and tracking salary trends to make recommendations to ensure external competitiveness and internal pay equity
Analyzing jobs and writing job descriptions, creating compensation strategy and policies, and administering compensation, bonus, rewards and recognition programs
Implementing commission plans for sales-focused and other managerial positions
Utilizing compensation surveys, conducting salary banding, and collaborating with business leaders to prepare salary ranges and total compensation and rewards offerings for positions
Supporting cyclical processes of annual compensation planning and merit/bonus administration; communicating with the workforce, and conducting analysis and reporting
Administering the compensation program including bonus, rewards and recognition programs
Utilizing compensation surveys and other tools; continuing to grow internal career framework including job description libraries, position codes, job classifications, skills and pay structures

Required

5+ years of Compensation Analysis-focused professional experience needed
Bachelor's degree is required
Experience creating and delivering commission and incentive plans for varied sales and leadership roles
Must have a very strong analytical mindset with the ability to gather and analyze data
Knowledge of current compensations trends/practices and compliance regarding FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act) laws and global regulations

Preferred

Bachelor's in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Accounting or related field is highly preferred
Masters/Advanced degree is a plus
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is highly preferred
