Responsibilities

Lead and develop the cardiovascular surgery program
Perform a variety of surgical cases including coronary bypass, valvular repair/replacement, and structural heart procedures
Dedicate time for service line building including responsibilities in quality, outreach, research, and education
Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of general cardiologists, interventionalists, and electrophysiologists

Required

At least five years of experience post training
Qualification for Kansas state physician license
Diplomate of the American Board of Thoracic Surgery

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and patients

Preferred

Experience or interest in general thoracic surgery
