Courage Reins is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with special needs through equine-assisted therapies. The Development Director will lead fundraising and marketing efforts, working closely with the leadership team to achieve the organization’s mission.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute Courage Reins’ annual fundraising plan

Secure financial support from individuals, foundations and corporations

Identify, research, and apply for grants that would benefit Courage Reins

Manage and maintain the social media accounts of Courage Reins (Facebook, Instagram, web page, etc.)

Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing donors

Creating and execute on a strategy for a large, sustained base of annual individual donors

Oversee the organization of special events to promote and educate the mission of Courage Reins

Develop and track the fundraising efforts of the organization and then report to Executive Director and other members of the leadership team

Develops and executes on annual marketing plan

Provide direction and leadership to the Volunteer Program Manager

Oversee fundraising database and tracking systems

Oversee creation of marketing materials to support Courage Reins programs and fund raising
