Responsibilities

Support regression testing of new simulation features
Validate fixes against DR/CR tickets
Perform reproduction steps and document outcomes
Assist in automated test execution
Support regression testing of new simulation features as the primary focus, validating fixes against DR and CR tickets, reproducing issues, and documenting outcomes

Qualification

AFSIM developmentC++ developmentPython developmentM&S architecture designCloud M&S environmentsPerformance tuningAir Force exercises experienceEffective writing skillsEffective communication skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field
Minimum 5 years of C++ or Python development
Minimum 5 years of AFSIM development
Effective writing and communication skills
Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
Creation of mission level AFSIM scenarios and core framework extensions
Demonstrated ability to design and maintain M&S architectures that support complex training and analysis needs

Preferred

Experience integrating AFSIM with other federates such as AFMSTT, ASCCE, or BLCSE
Familiarity with cloud based M&S execution environments
Experience with performance tuning and scalability in large AFSIM runs
Prior involvement in Air Force exercises or events where AFSIM was a primary tool
