Assembly, Integration & Test Engineer
AeroVironment is a global leader in unmanned aircraft systems and tactical missile systems, seeking an AI&T Engineer to support integration and test activities for complex defense Space RF systems. The role involves executing multi-system build, integration, and verification phases, ensuring compliance with military standards and program requirements.

Responsibilities
Support the AI&T strategy from early planning through final system acceptance, ensuring compliance with program requirements and DoD standards
Support development and coordinate integration and test activities, including hardware/software integration, functional RF testing, environmental testing, and acceptance testing
Develop and review test plans, test procedures, reports, and test readiness review (TRR) packages
Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for integration and test anomalies
Assist in the development of performance reviews and stakeholder update meetings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (Master's preferred)
5+ years of experience in assembly, integration and test of aerospace or defense systems
Understanding of system engineering/test processes, requirements verification, and test methodologies
Thorough understanding of DODI 5000.01-02 and service level test instruction
Strong decision-making, autonomy, and problem-solving skills
U.S. Citizenship and active DoD Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”)
Preferred
Operations or Acquisitions experience with multi-domain systems (RF, EO/IR, SATCOM, etc.)
Modeling and Simulation experience
Developmental/Operational Test and Evaluation coursework/certification
Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
Advanced degree preferred
