Manpower and Organization Analyst, S1M
The United States Space Force is seeking a Manpower and Organization Analyst for the S1M division in Colorado Springs, CO. The role involves developing and implementing solutions to complex manpower and organizational issues to support mission partners in protecting America and its allies in space.

Responsibilities
Develop, integrate, and implement solutions to diverse, highly complex problems across multiple areas and disciplines
Devise innovative approaches to resolve unusual/difficult manpower and resource issues
Promote and maintain an environment of cooperation and teamwork
Apply analytical and evaluative methods and techniques used to resolve complex problems of a broad range of functional areas
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing; conduct interviews with employees, supervisors, and management officials to obtain information about organizational missions, functions and work procedures
Carry out and complete assignments involving complex work with diverse and dynamic groups by gaining their cooperation with tact, courtesy and diplomacy
Encourage new ideas and innovations; manage human, financial and information resources strategically and build coalitions to achieve common goals
Work with customers to assess needs, provide assistance, resolve problems, and satisfy expectations
Persuade others to accept recommendations, work toward an agreement, and negotiate mutually acceptable solutions
Develop and maintain effective relationships and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Organize work, set priorities, and determine resource requirements; determine goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinate with other organizations; monitor progress, and evaluate outcomes

Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance
Safeguards classified or sensitive budget-related information and/or files
May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis
Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed 'Unscheduled Telework'
This position will close after 5 business days or 75 applications, whichever comes first
Employee may be required to perform travel by military or commercial passenger aircraft in the performance of temporary duty assignments
PCS is authorized. Incentive is not authorized
This position is designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program
Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): 15 days a year
Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD), Joint Service, Air Force and Space Force management engineering, organization and Continuous Process Improvement principles, concepts, and methodologies
Knowledge of process improvement techniques such as benchmarking, metric/statistical analysis and process flow charting
Skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques used to resolve complex problems of a broad range of functional areas
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; skill in conducting interviews with employees, supervisors, and management officials at FIELDCOM, HQ USAF and HQ SF to obtain information about organizational missions, functions and work procedures
Ability to carry out and complete assignments involving complex work with diverse and dynamic groups by gaining their cooperation with tact, courtesy and diplomacy, and moving them towards an ownership of their objective without imposing personal bias
Ability to encourage new ideas and innovations; manage human, financial and information resources strategically and build coalitions to achieve common goals
Skill in working with customers to assess needs, provide assistance, resolve problems, and satisfy expectations
Ability to persuade others to accept recommendations, work toward an agreement, and negotiate mutually acceptable solutions
