Facebook Strategist

Law&Crime is seeking a Facebook Strategist to lead growth, optimize monetization, and drive platform-specific excellence across their Facebook ecosystem. The role focuses on Facebook performance, audience expansion, and revenue strategy while also supporting cross-platform content adaptation as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead and own Facebook growth strategy end-to-end
Optimize content packaging, publishing cadence, and audience targeting
Develop revenue strategies and maintain accountability to revenue goals
Analyze performance data to identify growth opportunities, trends, and high-value content formats
Partner with leadership to forecast growth targets and revenue trajectories
Repackage and optimize YouTube-first content for Facebook
Create and iterate on platform-specific video and post formats
Maintain high editorial standards in line with Law&Crime’s tone and mission
Provide guidance on best practices for Instagram, TikTok, X when needed
Occasionally edit/repackage content for other platforms during priority moments
Support evergreen planning and trend spotting across social
Work closely with the Social Media Team on day-to-day content priorities
Partner with producers, editors, and platform specialists on testing and iteration
Contribute to cross-platform planning during investigations, trials, and breaking news

Required

3+ years managing and optimizing Facebook content at scale
Proven ability to grow audiences and improve monetization performance on Facebook
Experience creating and editing video content tailored for social platforms
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategy
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced news or media environment
Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
Familiarity with Adobe Suite (Premiere, Photoshop preferred)
Strong organization and project management skills
Flexibility to support breaking news moments when needed
