Responsibilities

Build and maintain highly resilient infrastructure to keep our web services running
Collaborate and grow alongside our engineering team
Create dashboards to make our systems observable and interpretable
Maintain testing frameworks that support service reliability
Manage cloud resources to keep costs down and promote best practices

Qualification

Backend services developmentCloud platform expertiseDeployment strategiesService deployment toolingSaaS product managementKotlin/SpringTypescript/ExpressPython/FastAPIRustMachine learning conceptsRelational databasesCommunication skillsCollaboration skills

Required

5+ years of experience in developing backend services
Expertise working with storage and compute on a cloud platform (e.g.Google Cloud, AWS)
Deep understanding of modern deployment strategies utilizing cloud technologies. (e.g. blue/green, canary deployments, etc)
Experience using service deployment tooling (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, Argo)
Experience in Kotlin/Spring, Typescript/Express, Python/FastAPI, or Rust
Experience with building and maintaining highly available SaaS products. Ensuring scalability, performance, and observability
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

Experience with machine learning concepts
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, BigQuery, etc)
