Interim Employee Relations Business Partner

They are seeking an Interim Employee Relations Business Partner to provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, manage complex cases, and ensure compliant documentation during organizational changes.

Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end employee relations cases, including investigations, performance management, corrective actions, and policy interpretation
Lead workplace investigations from intake through documentation, findings, and recommendations
Apply employment law knowledge to assess risk and guide consistent, compliant outcomes
Partner closely with HRBPs, Legal, and HR Centers of Excellence on complex matters
Maintain accurate ER documentation and identify trends or process improvement opportunities
Qualification
Required
4–5+ years of HR experience with at least 2+ years in Employee Relations
Strong working knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII, ADEA, PFL)
Demonstrated experience conducting investigations and managing sensitive ER cases
Experience supporting medium to large organizations (500+ employees preferred)
Strong written documentation, communication, and consultative skills
Ability to manage high case volume and competing priorities independently
