Responsibilities
Assist Quality Manager and Quality Engineer with evaluation of manufacturing and quality issues
Perform first article inspections and feature verification checks and document results
Program touch probe and vision CMM
Control and maintain inspection equipment calibration program
Perform gage repeatability and reproducibility studies
Perform mold component and tool inspections and document results
Maintain quality department documentation
Perform receiving inspections as needed
Communicate with customers to define quality requirements and/or resolve quality issues
Perform system and shipping audits as needed
Fill in as Quality Inspector, as needed
Generate and control quality/manufacturing reports and records, as requested
Lead/Participate in quality improvement projects
Participate in plant-wide safety efforts
Other responsibilities and projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Two-year technical degree and 3 years' experience, four-year degree, or ASQ, CQT/CQE certification
2-5 years' experience in quality manufacturing setting
Experience reading blueprints
Calibration or metrology experience/certification
CMM programming background/training
Strong mathematical skills
Statistics background/training
Ability to work collaboratively with internal & external teams
Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)

Microsoft Suite
Statistical (exp. Infinity QS, WinSpc)
Preferred
Experience in Plastic Injection Molding
