Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the Design and Engineering of Turbomachinery Packages made up of Piping Modules, Process Coolers, Valves, Instrumentation, Structural Frames, Seal Gas systems and Lube Oil systems
Further, you will specify the Sizing, Design, and Applicable International Code of Pressure vessels that include Process coolers, Oil Coolers, Filter Housings, Lube Oil Tanks, and Process piping
You also will perform or review Base Frame and Pipe Support Finite Element Analysis, Flexibility studies of Supplied Piping, and Anchor Bolt Sizing
In this role, you will support the selection and Plan the wiring of Vibration, Speed, Pressure, Flow, and Temperature instruments supplied with Turbomachinery designs
Additionally, you will perform the Package check-out, both in person and virtually with third party vendors, Travel up to 25% is required
You also will support procurement activities of Turbomachinery Packages by producing requests for quotations, purchase specifications, bid evaluations, and purchase requisitions

Required

Bachelor of Science in Engineering as it is required
Minimum of eight (8) years' experience in a process oriented, E / C Company or in an operating company with project equipment engineering duties
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and CAD Software (SolidWorks or AutoCAD)
Travel up to 25% is required

Preferred

Mechanical Engineering preferred
Experience with Rotating Equipment is preferred
Experience with ASME B31.3, ASME BPVC section VIII, and PED Requirements, as it is preferred
Working knowledge of Cooler sizing software (HTRI) is preferred
