Responsibilities
Design & Deploy: Architect, deploy, test, certify, and maintain DevSecOps infrastructure tools to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Troubleshoot & Resolve: Address interoperability issues across operating systems, libraries, components, and application dependencies
Infrastructure Management: Deploy and configure services leveraging infrastructure as a service provider to support robust and scalable solutions
Server Configuration: Set up and manage Linux-based servers for dynamic web applications
Debugging: Tackle and debug issues within cluster-based computing architectures to maintain smooth operations
Monitoring: Install, configure, and maintain open-source monitoring and observability tools to ensure the health of the systems
CI/CD Integration: Collaborate closely with development and security teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines adhering to DevSecOps best practices
Automation: Use scripting and programming (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate deployments and enhance system reliability
Agile Participation: Engage actively in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities for continuous improvement and delivery
Multi-Enclave Support: Operate within multi-enclave environments including Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret
Incident Response: Respond to and resolve critical incidents promptly within designated timelines
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship is required
Must possess an active TS clearance at the time of application, be willing and able to obtain SCI access, and pass a CI polygraph
This position is onsite 5/days a week in Chantilly, VA
May require occasional travel for Program Increment planning sessions
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years in DevOps or a related field
Proven experience with the SAFe Agile framework
Strong understanding of forensic and investigative system requirements
Demonstrated track record implementing DevSecOps practices in secure government environments
Expert-level proficiency with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible
Expert-level proficiency with Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
Expert-level proficiency with Search & Indexing Tools: ElasticSearch, Apache Solr
Expert-level proficiency with Repository Managers: JFrog Artifactory, Sonatype Nexus
Expert-level proficiency with Database Management: MySQL, Postgres, MSSQL
Expert-level proficiency with Cloud Platforms: AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S
Expert-level proficiency with Virtualization: VMware vSphere, VxRail
Expert-level proficiency with Monitoring Frameworks: Prometheus, Nagios, Grafana
Expert-level proficiency with Security & Networking: SSH, SSL/TLS, Key Vaults
Expert-level proficiency with Server Technologies: Apache Tomcat
Expert-level proficiency with DevSecOps Best Practices
Expert-level proficiency with Operating Systems: Linux (Rocky, RedHat, Amazon, Ubuntu) and Windows
