Responsibilities

Cover customer freight while focusing on executing on time and for a profit

Manage current transactional carriers

Develop new transactional carriers to cover customer’s evolving needs

Proactively communicate with the customer team to address carrier’s ETA, change requests, or issues that arise

Prompt and professional responses to carrier’s requests

Complete tracking of carriers from time of hire until load completion

Working through various sources to cover assigned customer loads. (i.e. load boards and contacts)

Vetting carriers prior to hiring

Onboarding valid carriers into TMS

Correctly dispatching each truck hired to cover all pertinent details to effectively haul the customer’s load

Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
