Responsibilities
Analyzes, troubleshoots, installs, rebuilds, adjusts, and replaces commercial refrigeration equipment
Performs major and/or minor repairs, as well preventative and corrective maintenance of equipment
Inspects and verifies the operation and safety of commercial equipment
Gathers and analyzes equipment failure information, research manufacturers’ manuals for technical guidance, makes decisions for the most efficient methods of carrying out requested repairs
Maintains equipment, tools and vehicles as issued
Keeps equipment and tools inventory records
Interprets mechanical system prints and wiring schematics related to commercial equipment
Responsible for coordinating and prioritizing work orders and assignments in a timely manner to reduce downtime
Calibrates control components on all commercial equipment to ensure peak operations efficiency
Performs other related duties as assigned or directed
Qualification
Required
Graduation High School or GED equivalency
Four (4) years of education and/or experience in refrigeration repair or preventive maintenance
Refrigeration training at a technical school or program
Valid state driver's license
EPA certification
Proof of education, training, and/or experience is required
