SVP, Local Media Sales

Responsibilities
Lead and implement sales strategies across TelevisaUnivision’s local platforms to maximize revenue and position the portfolio effectively in agency and client negotiations
Drive rigorous, data-informed forecasting and revenue projections to ensure accuracy, reduce variability, and enable strategic decision-making across the organization
Cultivate and sustain high-value relationships with agencies, clients, and station leadership, while engaging senior agency executives to strengthen partnerships
Direct internal and external negotiations and provide strategic account management to ensure long-term client satisfaction
Identify, evaluate, and present new business opportunities that align client objectives with Univision’s media properties
Partner with business operations, internal departments, consultants, and representative firms to drive optimal sales performance including sales operations—including compliance, pricing, traffic, credit, and collections
Deliver solution-based strategies by aligning client needs with TelevisaUnivision’s key properties and initiatives
Develop and empower regional leadership teams, fostering accountability, multiplatform expertise, and management excellence
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 10 years local media, agency or related experience within a senior leadership role
Minimum of 2 years digital media (streaming, social), OTT, Audience and/or cross-platform media sales
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred. Extensive, directly related experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Established network of contacts and relationships within the local media agency and client direct community
Fluency in both English and Spanish desired, but not required
Prior management/team leadership experience
Experience selling cross-platform media
Property sales experience with intellectual property, and event /experiential concepts
Excellent executive-level presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as influencing skills
Strong problem solving, analytical capabilities and collaboration skills
