Responsibilities
Provide daily analysis and review of security information network security monitoring customers
Handle customer change requests, configuration management, and reporting
Research information security standards; threats, vulnerabilities, conduct system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; study architecture/platform; identify and become familiar with emerging security issues
Upgrade security systems by monitoring security environment; identifying security gaps; evaluating and implementing appropriate enhancements
Prepare system security reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
Assist in the maintenance of the security architecture and infrastructure
Update industry knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in IT related area of study + 2 years' experience in an IT related field required
Customer service orientation with the drive to see issues through to completion
Solid problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot Windows and Mac operating systems issues and installed applications
Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users
Proficiency in English with strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work with customers in a friendly, professional manner
A desire to grow professionally by joining and contributing to a team of skilled consulting professionals that focus on exceeding customer expectations
Capable of managing and executing complex customer focused projects independently and as a team contributor
Experience and knowledge of IT security governance frameworks from ISO, NIST, and COBIT
Preferred
CYSA+ is a plus
