Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Seattle, WA. You will be responsible for building scalable, responsive applications using ReactJS and NextJS, ensuring accessibility compliance and optimized performance.

Responsibilities

Build responsive, scalable applications using ReactJS, NextJS, and React Native for tablet-first, mobile, and desktop experiences

Develop and optimize pages (Home, Receiving, Ordering, Item Lookup, On Hand) using SSR and ISR for performance and reliability

Ensure WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance and deliver inclusive, touch-friendly user interfaces

Implement performance best practices, including code splitting, route prefetching, and list virtualization for fast load times

Write and maintain unit and end-to-end tests using Jest, React Testing Library (RTL), and Playwright to ensure application stability

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and ship cohesive solutions following coding standards and best practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Hands-on experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA), performance optimization, and testing tools like Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright
