Regional Manager, Early Childhood Education

The Learning Experience is a childcare organization seeking a Regional Manager to oversee multiple early childhood education centers across Arizona and Nevada. This role involves ensuring operational success, developing Center Directors, and driving enrollment growth while maintaining compliance and exceptional family experiences.

Education Management

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations across multiple childcare centers, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance
Conduct frequent on-site visits (expect 3 days/week in centers) to assess classrooms, staff engagement, and leadership effectiveness
Partner with Center Directors to create, execute, and follow up on performance improvement plans
Serve as interim Center Director when needed — this role is happy to roll up sleeves
Ensure continuous readiness for licensing, inspections, and audits
Recruit, develop, coach, and performance-manage Center Directors
Build succession plans and elevate future leaders across the region
Partner with ownership on employee relations and disciplinary actions when needed
Ensure staffing levels, ratios, and hiring quality remain strong at all centers
Create a culture of accountability, inclusion, and leadership ownership
Own enrollment, tuition revenue, expense control, and center-level profitability
Analyze operational and financial reports; spot issues early and act fast
Partner with Directors on enrollment strategy, budget discipline, and growth plans
Deliver accurate forecasting and accountability against financial targets
Support Directors in resolving escalated family concerns with professionalism and care
Ensure monthly in-house family events and monthly community engagement at every center
Strengthen community partnerships to drive brand awareness and enrollment

Required

5–7+ years of multi-site leadership experience in childcare, early education, or a closely related field
Proven success managing directors, budgets, and performance across multiple locations
Deep knowledge of AZ & NV licensing requirements and early childhood best practices
Comfortable traveling regularly and working occasional evenings/weekends as needed
Clear communicator, decisive leader, calm under pressure
