Responsibilities

Supervise daily accounting operations, including payroll, general ledger activities, accounts receivable, and accounts payable

Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance

Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial assets and mitigate risks

Manage the preparation of accurate financial statements and supplemental reports in adherence to applicable standards

Coordinate tax compliance activities, including corporate tax filings and adherence to local, state, and federal regulations

Facilitate the annual audit process by assisting external auditors and ensuring timely documentation

Collaborate with the FP& A team to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making

Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive enhancements to accounting procedures

Recruit, train, and mentor accounting staff, fostering growth and development

Conduct performance evaluations and enforce firm policies to maintain a culture of accountability and excellence

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting8+ years accounting experienceCertified Public AccountantTechnical accounting expertiseLeadership skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles

Strong technical expertise in accounting standards, internal controls, and audit practices

Preferred

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure is preferred
