Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Lean Six Sigma to align with organizational goals
Lead project teams by supervising team members, facilitating collaboration, and managing stakeholder expectations through effective communication and negotiation
Conduct requirements gathering and analysis to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
Manage project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, or Trello to ensure timely delivery while controlling costs through rigorous budgeting and cost control measures
Oversee program development and design by applying business process modeling, process mapping, and root cause analysis techniques to optimize workflows
Facilitate meetings, conflict management sessions, and project reviews to maintain momentum and resolve issues swiftly
Implement risk management strategies, including earned value management (EVM), to monitor progress and mitigate potential setbacks proactively
Coordinate vendor management activities, including contract negotiations and performance evaluations, ensuring alignment with project requirements
Utilize project management software such as Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or Confluence for documentation, tracking progress, and reporting key metrics
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Kaizen or Six Sigma to enhance quality management and operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
Proven experience supervising teams in a project management environment with demonstrated leadership capabilities
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including PMBOK, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), Waterfall, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, and Kanban
Expertise in requirements analysis, scope management, risk assessment, and project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement at all levels of the organization
Proficiency in project management software such as Jira, Trello, Smartsheet or equivalent tools for planning and tracking projects
Ability to perform data analysis skills including data collection and interpretation for informed decision-making
Experience in process management techniques like Value Stream Mapping or Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN)
Knowledge of contract administration and vendor management practices
Preferred
Technical acumen related to IT infrastructure projects or product lifecycle management is highly desirable
Certification in PMP (Project Management Professional), Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is preferred but not mandatory
